Specialist in Strategy and Foresight, Change Design and Community Engagement, she has over 30 years of experience in the corporate, not-for-profit and public sectors from Board Level to the factory floor. She has worked in Europe, Asia and the US. She uses strength-based approaches to change.

She has published two books, Beyond Crisis: achieving renewal in a turbulent world, John Wiley & Sons, 2010 and Here Be Dragons: navigating an uncertain world, The Choir Press 2012. Her latest book Strategic Foresight: learning from the future was published in July 2015 by Triarchy Press.

Martin is also a Director of Simplexity Limited and a volunteer for both The Cranfield Trust and UpRising, providing strategic consulting and mentoring

She is a Fellow of the World Futures Studies Federation and the Royal Society of the Arts, and a member of the Association of Professional Futurists. Her award-winning articles on futures thinking and process design contribute to the cutting edge of futures research.
